Admission Procedure
FMC
1. Process of Admission
  • The process of admission starts after completion of F.Sc. examinations of different Intermediate Boards in Pakistan.
  • Applications for admission in MBBS are invited through advertisement in national newspapers, on prescribed Application Forms available from the college with the College Prospectus.
  • Applications should be sent by registered post or through courier service to the college or may be deposited personally in the Students Department
Completed Application Forms must reach the college by 10th September.
  • On receipt, the applications are scrutinized and those candidates found suitable are invited for the College Entry Test.
  • After the College Entry Test, successful short-listed applicants are interviewed by the Admission Selection Committee of the college.
  • Merit list will be prepared based on the marks obtained in the Entry Test, F.Sc, Matric examination and Interview. Based on this merit list the top 100 candidates are invited for final interview and admission.
  • Applicants reporting for interview should preferably be accompanied by their parents (father or mother). In case both the parents have expired their elder brother or sister or guardian should accompany them. They should bring their identity cards or copy of their parent’s identity card if they are less than 18 years of age.
  • It is absolutely essential to show the originals of all documents at the time of interview
2. Documents Required with Application
• Applicants must submit the completed (all columns of the application form must be completed) prescribed application form with attested photocopies of the following certificates:
  1. Detailed Marks Certificate of the examination on basis of which admission is sought (F.Sc. Pre-medical or similar examination).
  2. Secondary School Certificate Examination (Matriculation).
  3. National Identity Card (where available) or a copy of the father’s National Identity Card.
  4. For Foreign applicants a photocopy of relevant four pages of their passports.
  5. Character Certificate from the head of institution most recently attended by the candidate.
  6. In case of candidates seeking admission on the basis of B.Sc., detailed marks certificate of B.Sc. and F.Sc. Pre-medial examinations.
  7. Overseas Pakistani and foreign candidates from USA, Canada and UK (GCE `A` level) should submit a copy of their high School certificate result and a copy of the transcript.
  8. Any other educational or co-curricular activity certificate, that an applicant wishes to be considered like the Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) score, MCAT or games or sports achievement etc.
  9. A medical certificate duly signed by a registered medical doctor regarding satisfactory physical fitness.
  10. A certificate that the candidate has received proper Hepatitis B vaccine
  11. Six passport size recent colour photographs of the applicant
