| 1. Eligibility |
The course of study for MBBS is open to both male and female candidates from all provinces of Pakistan and also from both men and women candidates of all nationalities from abroad. The British GCE ‘A’ level Candidates having passed B.Sc. Examination in First Division can also apply provided they have passed F.Sc. exam with Biology, Physics and Chemistry subject. |
2. Selection |
| Selection is on Merit, which is determined on the basis of marks obtained in the F.Sc or the qualifying examination, the Entry Test, the Matriculation examination and the Interview. |
3. Entry test |
| The Entry Test of the candidates is held at the college. The date of the test is communicated to the candidates individually after preliminary screening based on information provided by the candidates in their application forms. Entry Test is an objective type of examination in the form of Multiple Choice type of Questions (MCQ) based on the standard of F.Sc. Pre-medical in the subjects of English, Biology, Chemistry and Physics. Some questions are of General Knowledge and some for Aptitude Testing. There are 108 questions, 25 each from the above four subjects and 12 questions on General Knowledge and Aptitude testing. For each question 4 possible answers are written below. The candidates select one answer. For every correct reply 4 marks are awarded and for every wrong answer one mark is deducted. No marks plus or minus are given for no reply. |
4. Interview |
| After the entry test, the candidates are interviewed by the members of Admission Selection Committee. The interview is mainly to asses the ability of the candidates to undertake the arduous and difficult course of medical education. It will help, if at the time of interview the parents or guardians of the candidates are also present. |

6. Verification of Documents |
| All particulars, certificates or any other document submitted with the admission form will be subject to verification. Any candidate whose documents are found to be incorrect or forged in any way, or whose authentication is doubtful, will be struck off from the college rolls even if the candidate has been admitted. |
7. Foreign Students |
| Foreign students may submit their MCAT score in support of their applications. Selected candidates from abroad will be assisted in obtaining students Visa and other legal documents required to study in Pakistan at Frontier Medical College. They do not have to appear in the Entry Test unless they wish to compete for scholarships. |
8. Merit Scholarships |
| Merit Scholarships of Rs. 200,000.- are awarded to the students who score at least 80% marks both in the Entry Test and F.Sc (Higher Secondary School) examinations. Those students securing 80% marks either in the Entry Test or in the F.Sc. Examination will receive an award of Rs. 100,000. In the second and subsequent years, students securing over 80% marks in their annual professional university examinations will also receive a scholarship of Rs. 100,000. - for the year concerned. Students scoring over 80% marks in any subject in the university examination receive an award of Rs. 50,000 per subject. |
9. Hostel Accommodation |
| Hostel accommodation is available in separate hostels for boys and girls. Boarding and lodging fee including cost of food is Rs. 65,000/- per year. |
