Frontier Medical College has developed collaboration with University Of Calgary Medical School in 2010. The University Of Calgary was founded as the Calgary Normal School in 1906, it became a branch of The University Of Alberta in 1945, then the autonomous University Of Calgary in 1966. Since then it became a comprehensive research-based University with sixteen faculties. It has 2410 members of faculty, over twenty thousand students from 90 countries. The University has graduated over 120,000 during the last 40 years including the current Prime Minister of Canada.
The University Of Calgary is a place of education and scholarly inquiry. Its mission is to seek truth and disseminate knowledge. The aim is to pursue the mission with integrity for the benefit of the people of Alberta, Canada and the world. Through interdisciplinary teaching, research and service and leadership on-and off-campus, it builds bridges between diverse disciplines, communities and cultures thereby transforming ideas into actions.

The Faculty of Medicine
The faculty of Medicine of The University Of Calgary established in 1967. It has an innovative, patient –based, cross disciplinary, research-intensive program that has a earned national and international reputation for excellence. Through its educational programs it is training the physicians and scientists who will lead the next generation of health practitioners. Through clinical work, continuing medical education programs and close relationship with Calgary Health Department it moves new treatments and diagnostic techniques from the laboratory bench to the hospital bedside efficiently and effectively, improving patient care. Finally, breakthroughs in medical research and treatment made here are used around the world. Brain tumor research, fundamental discoveries in cancer and juvenile diabetes treatment, leading edge research and treatments for joint injury and arthritis. These scientific achievements are of benefit not just to Canada, but to the world over.
